LivingShapes is a fictional one-page website concept developed for a Skills Heroes school competition round. Skills Heroes is a vocational competition for MBO students where participants first compete within their school, with the possibility of progressing to qualification rounds and national finals. The project was created within a strict three-hour time limit and placed 4th within the school round.
The website presents a fictional architecture/design brand called LivingShapes, showing several concept buildings with visual cards, hover interactions, and a simple content structure. The design focuses on presenting the fictional brand in a clean and visually recognisable way while meeting the requirements of the competition assignment.
The project was developed independently using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. During the competition, the main focus was on quickly building a working one-page website with interactive UI elements under time pressure. One of the required features involved drag-and-drop functionality, which became the main technical challenge during the assignment and could not be fully completed within the available time.
Although the project was built purely for the Skills Heroes competition, it remains a useful showcase of working under pressure, translating a brief into a visual web concept, and making technical decisions within a very limited timeframe.
Built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and frontend interaction techniques.
